The wheel type maglev style wind power generator (WMPG) is a creative device that can generate electrical power efficiently under strong wind and even under weak wind. The wheel is designed as a vertical shaft which characterizes maglev style to reduce the gravitational friction, thus the steady supply of wind power can be ensured. Moreover, the device will transmit power upon the lever principle which may multiply the wind power, thus comparing the present traditional horizontal shaft, the wheel can generate more and more power under the same natural circumstances. WMPG comprises a relative low barycenter which is easy to install as stable as a mountain. So WMPG can be installed everywhere such as plain, slope, mountain, desert, grassland, water surface, vessels as well as building roof. Both large-scale and minitype generator units are available. Upon the simple structure of WMPG, high efficiency of power can be obtained with lower cost. All in all, WMPG may not only moderate the situation of power shortage but also reduce the environmental pollution efficiently.
