Brief

SAFE is an infant/child care invention helps to prevent children’s finger-pinching by doors.

SAFE helps to prevent finger injuries on both lock & hinge sides. As documented in medical research reports, fingers were more frequently and more severely injured on the hinge-side than on the lock-side.

SAFE is a forgetting-proof device, which is designed basing on a full understanding of the nature of “accident” itself. In reality, accidents occur unexpectedly due to the lack of intentional precautions or under absent-mindedness. In other words, any device in the market, which requires intentional re-installation of the device by the user on the door every time it is left open, would turn out to be superfluous. One needs only to install SAFE once, the position of the bumper on the hinge-side will be instantaneously resumed whenever the door is opened, and the door is then stopped instantly from closing, hence clamping injuries can be prevented.

簡介

SAFE 是一項防止兒童被門夾手意外的發明。

目前市面上的產品最大的缺點是: (1)只能預防門鎖一側的意外, 但其實在門軸一側所做成的傷害足可把手指夾斷; (2)每次關門時需要取下, 下一次開門後又未必記得裝上, 意外就會發生◦

SAFE 不單可同時避免在門鎖一側或是在門軸一側被夾傷的意外發生，對於市面上許多需要使用者在每次開門都要留意重新安裝的裝置來說，SAFE 已克服了這個問題。由於 SAFE 的獨特結構以及其半自動的特性，使用者不需要重新安裝。每當門打開，SAFE 的緩衝器能及時恢復原位，自動返回門隙，即時防止門在不安全的情況下關上，防止夾手意外發生。
