• For those who are residents of Hong Kong, China or other countries and good in personal conduct, regardless of nationality, sex and age, may apply to become our members.

Types of Member and Fee payable

Ordinary member

• For one who is interested in invention and recognizes our missions, works
  according to the regulations of the Association; may apply to become an
  ordinary member.
• Enrolment Fee ( pay once only ) : HK$ 1,000.00
• Annual Fee : HK$ 600.00

Professional member

• For one who possesses tertiary qualification or a university degree, obtains
  local or international certificate(s) or award(s) of invention, patent or
  design; may apply to become a professional member.
• Enrolment Fee ( pay once only ) : HK$ 1,000.00
• Annual Fee : HK$ 1,000.00

Corporate member

• HK corporate, company or other organization which shows interest in invention
  and pays the enrolment fee with HK$10,000.00 or above, may apply to become
  a corporate member.
• Enrolment Fee ( pay once only ) : HK$ 10,000.00
• Annual Fee : HK$ 1,000.00

Permanent member

• For one who is founder of the Association, whose membership is more than
  ten years with age over 55 years old and fulfills his/her obligation without
  interruption, or one-off payment of HK$ 50,000.00 to our enrolment fee;
  after the approval and nomination by the Committee members, he/she can become
  a permanent member.
• Enrolment Fee ( pay once only ) : HK$ 50,000.00
• Annual Fee : Exempt

Honorary member

• For one who pays the enrolment fee with HK$ 100,000.00 or above at one
  time, or, who makes great and specific contribution to the Association;
  after the approval and nomination by the Committee members, he/she can become
  an honorary member.
• Enrolment Fee ( pay once only ) : HK$ 100,000.00
• Annual Fee : Exempt

Student member

• For one who is a HK student with great interest in invention may apply
  to become a student member.
• Enrolment Fee ( pay once only ) : Exempt
• Annual Fee : HK$ 100.00

Mainland member

• For one who is a Chinese mainland resident and possesses the qualification
  of professional member, may apply to become a mainland member.
• Enrolment Fee ( pay once only ) : HK$ 1,000.00
• Annual Fee : HK$ 1,000.00

International member

• For one who is a foreign resident and possesses the qualification of professional
  member, may apply to become an international member.
• Enrolment Fee ( pay once only ) : HK$ 1,000.00
• Annual Fee : HK$ 1,000.00

入會資格

凡香港合法居民或國內外居民，不分國籍、性別及年齡，身心正常、品行良好，均可申請入會。

會員分類及應繳費用

基本會員

• 對本會宗旨有興趣和承認本會會章及繳納會費者。
• 入會基金（只繳一次）： HK$ 1,000.00
• 每年會費 ： HK$ 600.00

專業會員

• 具有大專學歷資格或具大學學位者。取得本港或國際任何一國之「發明」、「專利」證書或設計獎狀者。
• 入會基金（只繳一次）： HK$ 1,000.00
• 每年會費 ： HK$ 1,000.00

團體會員

• 凡廠商、社團等機構、贊助本會基金港幣一萬元或以上者，可成為團體會員。
• 入會基金（只繳一次）： HK$ 10,000.00
• 每年會費 ： HK$ 1,000.00

永久會員

• 本會的發起者或入會十年以上，年齡超過五十五歲，履行義務從未中斷或一次過繳納本會基金港幣五萬元者，經理事會提名及議決後，便可成為永久會員。
• 入會基金（只繳一次）： HK$ 50,000.00
• 每年會費 ： 豁免

榮譽會員

• 一次過繳納本會基金港幣拾萬元以上，或對本會有特殊貢獻者，經理事會提名及議決後，可成為榮譽會員。
• 入會基金（只繳一次）： HK$ 100,000.00
• 每年會費 ： 豁免

學生會員

• 凡在校就讀的學生，對發明設計具有濃厚興趣者，可以申請加入成為學生會員。
• 入會基金（只繳一次）： 豁免
• 每年會費 ： HK$ 100.00

大陸會員

• 凡中國大陸居民，符合專業會員條件者，可申請成為大陸會員。
• 入會基金（只繳一次）： HK$ 1,000.00
• 每年會費 ： HK$ 1,000.00

國際會員

• 非本港居民，符合專業會員條件者，可申請成為國際會員。
• 入會基金（只繳一次）： HK$ 1,000.00
• 每年會費 ： HK$ 1,000.00
