A brief summary of the HKIA’s achievements from 1996 to 2005
香港發明協會簡歷 ( 1996 - 2005年 )
1996
Hong Kong Invention Association Ltd., former name Hong Kong Inventors Association Ltd., was registered as a non-profit social service society.
香港發明協會成立並註冊成為非牟利團體
1997
Joined the “10th National Exhibition of Inventions” in Guangzhou and won the “HKSAR Reunification Cup” honorary award. Due to the high standard of our exhibits, HKIA was interviewed by China Central Television (CCTV) for national broadcasting.
承北京中國發明協會邀請以“香港特區”名義組織前往廣州參加「第十屆全國發明展」，榮獲大會“回歸杯”榮譽獎，因參展項目實用高水準，並蒙中央電視台專訪拍成特輯作全國性廣播，反應甚佳。
1998
Co-organised with the Hong Kong Productivity Council, more than 400 Chinese inventors around the world participated the first “Chinese International Invention Expo” held in Hong Kong.
與生產力促進局合辦「首屆世界華人發明博覽會」，逾400位海內外華人發明家蒞港參與。
1999
Joined the “12th National Exhibition of Inventions” in Ningbo and attained outstanding results.
Two competitions, “the Most Popular Inventions in 20th century Among Hong Kong People” and “the Most Wanted Inventions in 21th century’, were jointly organised by HKIA, the HK Intellectual Property Department and the Summer Youth Programme Committee. The aims of the competitions were to arouse public interest in invention and public concern on the protection of intellectual property rights.
參加中國發明協會主辦在寧波舉行的「第十二屆全國發明展」，成績優異。
與香港特區政府知識產權署合辦「20世紀最受港人歡迎的發明」和「21世紀你最期待的發明」有獎選舉比賽，大受歡迎，產生不少智慧結晶創意。
2000
Joined the “Hong Kong International Exhibition of Invention 2000″, and won 3 special Medals of Merit, 6 gold, 6 silver and 14 bronze medals.
參加「2000年香港國際發明展」，榮獲 6 金、6 銀、14 銅及 3 項專業大獎的輝煌成績。
2001
Joined the “13th National Exhibition of Inventions” in Kunming, and won 2 gold and 1 silver medals.
參加中國在昆明舉行的「第十三屆全國發明展」，榮獲 2 金、1 銀佳績。
2002
Joined the “Seoul International Invention Fair 2002″, and won 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals.
參加「2002年漢城國際發明展」，榮獲 1 金、2 銀、1 銅佳績。
2003
Joined the IENA 2003 (International Exhibition “Ideas-Inventions-New Products”, Nuremberg Germany), and won 1 gold and 1 silver medals.
Joined the “14th National Exhibition of Inventions” in Xiamen, and won 1 special Medal of Merit, 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals.
參加「2003年德國紐倫堡國際發明展」，榮獲 1 金、1 銀佳績。
參加中國在廈門舉行的「第十四屆全國發明展」，榮獲 3 金、2 銀、3 銅及 1 項特別大獎的佳績。
2004
Joined the “32th International Exhibition of Inventions, Geneva Switzerland”, and won 3 gold and 1 silver medals.
Joined the “INPEX 2004″ (Invention/New Product Exposition, Pittsburgh U.S.A.), and won 2 gold and 1 bronze medals.
Joined the “China International Exhibition of Inventions” in Shanghai, and won 1 special Medal of Merit, 3 gold, 5 silver and 14 bronze medals.
參加「第32屆瑞士日內瓦國際發明新技術展覽會」，榮獲 3 金、1 銀佳績。
參加美國匹茲堡世界發明展 ( INPEX 2004新發明新產品展覽會 )，榮獲 2 金、1 銅佳績。
參加在上海舉行的「中國國際發明展」，榮獲 1 項特別大獎及 3 金、5 銀、14 銅共 23 項獎牌。
2005
Joined “33rd International Exhibition of Inventions, Geneva Switzerland”, and won 2 special Medals of Merit, 4 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals.
Joined the “8th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo”, and won 2 gold medals and 9 medals of Merit.
Joined the “INPEX 2005″ (Invention/New Product Exposition, Pittsburgh U.S.A.), and won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, 1 special Medal of Merit, 1 Invention Medal and overall 1st runner-up.
Joined the “15th National Exhibition of Inventions” in Beijing, and won 4 gold, 10 silver and 6 bronze medals.
參加「第33屆瑞士日內瓦國際發明新技術展覽會」，榮獲 4 金、3 銀、1 銅及 2 項特別大獎。
參加北京「第八屆國際科技產業博覽會」，榮獲 2金、9優異獎佳績。
參加美國匹茲堡世界發明展( INPEX 2005 )，榮獲 2 金、1 銀、1 項特別獎、1 項發明大獎及全場亞軍。
參加中國在北京舉行的「第十五屆全國發明展」，榮獲 4 金、10 銀、6 銅佳績。
