Invited by Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS), Asian Caucus of Invention Association (ASIA) and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Hong Kong Invention Association participated in the “21st International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition – Asian Young Inventors Exhibition 2010″ held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from May 14 to 16.
This year, seven Hong Kong student members with their 10 inventions were recommended by the Hong Kong Invention Association to join the Asian Young Inventors Exhibition 2010, and the youngest Hong Kong participant is only 9 years old. After 3-day exhibition, Hong Kong representatives finally got very outstanding achievement, which includes seven gold medals, three silver medals, one special award and one international top award “WIPO AWARD for BEST YOUNG INVENTOR”.
Our Hong Kong representatives were awarded the largest number of gold medals over other seven participated countries in this exhibition.
香港發明協會於今年二月份承馬來西亞吉隆坡邀請，參加 5 月 14 日至 16 日由 Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS)、Asian Caucus of Invention Association (ASIA) 及 World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) 等國際發明組織主辦的 “21st International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition - Asian Young Inventors Exhibition 2010″。 該主辦機構提供 10 個免費展位，香港發明協會推薦 7 名香港學生會員共10件發明品參賽，其中年紀最幼只得9歲。香港隊今次成績彪炳，共奪7金、3銀、1特別獎及1國際大獎 “WIPO AWARD for BEST YOUNG INVENTOR最佳青年發明家大獎”。
今次香港隊在國際發明比賽獲得如此佳績，於七個國家中奪金牌數量最多，成為大贏家。
