Hong Kong Invention Association (HKIA) is founded by me and a couple of friends in the year 1970. In the then forty years period, HKIA has been devoted in contributing the Hong Kong Society with new inventions as the seeds for continuous economic growth and stability.
This year, in the age of 93, I still keep up my daily travel for over an hour to the office from home and work for HKIA. It is my belief that our Society can only be enhanced by creative inventions and not by speculations or quick returns on investment. With my limited capability, I trust HKIA will help to steer the Society to the right direction of fostering human intellectual resources — which is the right one for the global economic development in the 21st Century.

HKIA 是我與幾位好友於 1970 年創立的。於此 40 年間，我們努力不懈，堅持提倡發明，為香港播種安定繁榮的種子！
我四十年如一日，以 93 歲的高齡，每天仍花上超逾一小時從住處返 HKIA 作出我微薄的貢獻，為的是要導向社會發展人類智慧資源！ 社會的進步繁榮絕不能倚仗投機及賺快錢的心態，我相信創新發明才是正確的方向，亦是 21 世紀國際發展的總趨勢。
