The 18th China Invention Exhibition was held from 12 to 15 August 2009 in Kunming, capital of Yunnan province. More than 1,700 invention items from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan were displayed at the exhibition. The exhibition covered many fields, like mechatronics, electronic information, biology, medicine, energy and environmental protection. HKIA members obtained remarkable results with 4 Gold Medal Awards and several other awards.
第十八屆中國發明展
第十八屆中國發明展於2009年8月12日至15日在昆明舉行。來自中國大陸、香港及臺灣各省市地區，超過一千七百多項發明專案參展，涉及電子資訊、生物、醫藥、能源、環保等領域。香港發明協會會員取得卓越成績，贏得四個金牌獎及多個其他獎項。
榮獲中國第18屆全國發明展金牌獎 :
- 林信義 : 超節能環保射燈及多功能充電燈泡
- 林子深 : 高效節能交通系統
- 吳建華 : 環保純不銹鋼纖維織物
- 吳獻榮 : 反雕刻三維雕像製作
